Information We Collect
When you register for PubEasy®, we ask you to provide your email address and other identifying information. We use this information to provide you with important updates and to facilitate your use of the service.
Because we are an industry service, our registration process requires that you provide a SAN or EAN. This information is used to ensure that only book resellers are granted access to secure PubEasy Affiliate sites. We then issue you a Password, PIN and User ID. These three pieces of information become the basis of your user profile. Your Password, PIN and User ID profile will provide you with the ability to login for a session, pass from PubEasy site to PubEasy site and not have to login again during that session.
To place or check the status of orders on an Affiliate site, you need to be a registered user and have a business account with that Affiliate. If you have an existing account, you should be able to view the ordering options on the Main Menu. Your Password and PIN/EAN are linked to your Affiliate user profile and identify your account. If your ordering options do not appear at an Affiliate site and you have an active account with that Affiliate, please send mail to the PubEasy User Team at help@pubeasy.com and we will contact the Affiliate on your behalf.
If you do not have a business account with a particular Affiliate and wish to gain access to their site, you will need to apply for an account . Completing and submitting any forms required by that Affiliate will activate their approval process. Please contact the Affiliate’s customer service department directly. (The contact information is on the login page of their PubEasy web site.)
PubEasy monitors customer traffic patterns to help us further develop services that contribute to the growth of PubEasy. We also use the information we collect to occasionally notify you about important functionality changes, new PubEasy services, new Affiliates joining, and special offers we think you'll find valuable. If you prefer not receive this information, please email the PubEasy User Team and ask them to flag your user record so that you will not receive these notifications.
Customer Information Confidentiality
When you place orders or access your account information at any Affiliate site, the information is secure. Furthermore, all of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.
Disclosure of Information
PubEasy does not sell or rent your user profile information to others. PubEasy may provide aggregate statistics about our traffic patterns, and related site information to reputable third parties, but these statistics do not include identifying information.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect on the PubEasy sites to make conducting business at PubEasy possible and to improve the flow of information between booksellers and their suppliers. By accessing our secure service(s), you consent to the collection and use of this information by PubEasy.

Bowker has several links to outside resources that may be of interest to our users. Bowker is not responsible for the content provided on these sites, their privacy policies, or how they treat information about their users.
Some links, primarily to book industry sites and entities, are provided as a service to our users. Other links to suppliers are available as part of paid advertising packages.
Data Gathering & Usage
Bowker collects the domain names and e-mail addresses (where possible) of visitors and subscribers to our websites and the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail. We aggregate information on what pages visitors and subscribers access or visit, as well as information volunteered by visitors and subscribers (such as survey information and/or site registrations).
The information we collect is used for internal review to improve the content of our websites, used to compile internal statistical and usage information, used to notify visitors and subscribers about updates to our websites, used to inform visitors and subscribers of other Bowker products or services they may be interested in, and used to inform visitors and subscribers of helpful products or services offered by others. Visitors and subscribers who provide their mailing address, telephone number, and/or e-mail address may be contacted for these purposes using any of these methods.
Electronic "cookies" are codes placed on your hard drive to enable sites to recognize if you have been there before. Cookies are given to visitors and subscribers of our websites so that Bowker can keep track of the domain from which people visit.
We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies or third party advertising agencies that track certain Internet activity.
