Back Order Cancellation
PubEasy’s Back Order Cancellation Request (BOCR) functionality makes it easy to search for and request back order cancellations.
PubEasy’s BOCR function works like a shopping cart -- simply add the items you wish to cancel into a “cancellation cart,” review the cart, then submit the cancellation requests to the affiliate for review.
Once the cancellation request has been submitted, you will be notified about the current processing status of recent cancellations and check for notices on items that cannot be cancelled, for example, when goods are already in transit.
Here’s how it works:
From the main affiliate menu, select the “Back Order Cancellations” option to search for items to cancel. This functionality is also available if you are checking order status from the “Check Order Status / Back Orders” flow.
On the “Back Order Cancellation” menu, you can search for back orders to cancel, view unconfirmed items in the cancellation cart, or view the status of recent cancellations.
You can also search for back orders -- you may add back orders to a “cancellation cart” on the search results screen.
Once you have added items to the cancellation cart, you will review a cancellation cart screen, where you can make any final adjustments to the cancellation request, remove items, search for more back orders to cancel, or confirm your request.
After the affiliate has processed the request, you will receive an acknowledgment e-mail that will include the status of each request. If a cancellation request for a particular item was rejected, a brief description will explain why. You can also view the status of recent cancellations online by checking the “cancellation status” column.
