today announced the availability of the HarperCollins US PubEasy.com
site at http://pubeasy.books.harpercollins.com.
The US site joins the HarperCollins UK site, which launched in
March of 1999. Together, the two HarperCollins sites represent a
significant endorsement of the PubEasy.com Global Publishing
e-Marketplace.
Booksellers in the US and around the world, with a PubEasy
password, can now login to the HarperCollins US and UK/PubEasy site(s)
and gain easy access to order placement, order tracking, and title,
price and availability data. The HarperCollins US/PubEasy site is the
first to launch with the latest version of PubEasy which offers the
new /TRANSACT service, which enables booksellers from anywhere in
the world to "batch" price and availability inquiries, order
status inquiries and orders across the Internet for rapid processing
and acknowledgement.
Booksellers can also use the new e-Catalog features, which enable
the online creation of customized bookseller e-Catalogs for standing
orders or frequently ordered titles, as well as Publisher created
e-catalogs for inquiring and ordering on title lists organized by
subject, by category or any other criteria desired.
