Triptych’s new Bestseller Two bookseller point of
sale system to provide seamless web access to PubEasy.com websites for
online inquiry, ordering and order tracking
Somerset, NJ, February 4, 2000 . . . PubEasy.com, the global
Internet inquiry and ordering service, together with Triptych Systems,
a leader in point of sale inventory management software systems for
the international book trade, announced today plans to integrate
seamless web access to PubEasy.com Affiliate websites from
Triptych’s new Bestseller Two Internet-enabled system. The
partnership is the first to introduce to booksellers a seamless
e-business environment for inquiries and transactions at the point of
sale. The integrated software is scheduled to launch at the London
Book Fair in March.
Booksellers using Bestseller Two will be able to transmit batched
orders and inquiries directly from their Bestseller Two inventory
control system to PubEasy.com Affiliate websites using
PubEasy.com/Transact technology. /Transact is the new PubEasy.com
point-to-point "batch" inquiry, ordering and order-tracking
tool. The Bestseller Two/PubEasy.com integration will enable
booksellers to simultaneously view multiple suppliers’ inventory and
gather not only availability status information but also ensure
complete fulfillment of multi-line item orders. In addition, book
covers and enhanced bibliographic webpages can be seamlessly linked
to, providing additional promotional information that enables a
bookseller to increase sales.
