Writersworld Becomes Latest PubEasyŽ Affiliate
Niche Publishing Services House Joins Growing List
of Publishers and Imprints Available
February 25, 2002
. PubEasy, the 24/7 online customer
self-service center for the publishing industry, is pleased to
announce that Writersworld, a UK-based firm specializing in print on
demand titles and publishing out of print books, has launched its own
PubEasy website at http://exchange.pubeasy.com/writersworld.
Over 8,000 registered booksellers from 110 countries around the world
will be able to log on over the Internet to check price, availability
and order status, place orders and create online catalogs for all
titles available from Writersworld.
"PubEasy is an impressive system, in particular the quality
and dedication of the PubEasy team. PubEasy presents an ideal forum
for Writersworld to form strategic alliances with other organizations
worldwide," states Graham Cook, Chief Executive Officer of
Writersworld Ltd. Quite recently, Writerworld worked with well known
author Patrice Chaplin, tracking down her former bestselling title Albany
Park, which had gone out of print. Cook adds, "The book is
now digitally stored and will never go out of print again! The author
was so thrilled with the end result that Writersworld has been
commissioned to re-print all her other books and design a website to
promote them. From here, booksellers can click over to PubEasy for
easy access to price and availability information and ordering."
Gary Bowman, Chief Operating Officer of PubEasy, comments, "PubEasy
is pleased to add Writersworld to our growing list of Affiliates.
Writersworld can now make formerly out of print titles and its print
on demand titles available to PubEasys worldwide community. In
addition to Writersworld, PubEasy continues to broaden its reach,
including the recent additions of Boydell & Brewer, SCM Canterbury
Press and The Wessex Astrologer."
Writersworld ( http://www.writersworld.tv)
joins a growing list of Affiliates making use of PubEasys Exchange
service. PubEasy Exchange is a valuable service for smaller
independent and niche publishers to broaden their marketing
capabilities and further improve their market visibility. The service
provides sophisticated linking tools that help booksellers find their
way to Exchange sites.
Margaret Cahill, Managing Director of The Wessex Astrologer,
summarizes the benefit of PubEasy Exchange: "As a small publisher
and distributor in a niche market, it is pretty difficult to make your
voice heard. Our prime objective is to let independent bookstores
across the world know about our product range, and we feel that
PubEasy is a big step in the right direction." The Wessex
Astrologer, live on the PubEasy community since November, is a growing
company in the niche market of astrology books and associated
products. The Wessex Astrologer publishes high quality astrological
titles in the UK, and represent several other publishers, distributing
their books in Europe and the United States.
